Mega Setya Handayani, a student of the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) class of 2021, has achieved remarkable success by winning the 1st place in the Outstanding Student Selection at the Faculty of Educational and Psychology (FIPP) of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) in 2024. 

Her achievements are unquestionable, along with her dedication and hard work. Mega Setya Handayani has shown excellence in various competitions, including being the 1st place winner in the National Poetry Reading Competition at the UKM Teater Kuku, as well as achieving the 1st place title in the Islamic Content Photo Competition Asma Amanina. Not only that, her talent in literature and art is also reflected in her victory as the 1st place winner in the National Virtual Poetry Reading Competition in Literature and Art. 

However, her achievements are not limited to the realm of literature and art. Mega Setya Handayani also managed to win 1st place in the National Essay Competition FIPP UNY, as well as a Silver Medal in the National Essay Competition at Triatma Mulya University Denpasar. These successes are a tangible proof of her ability to produce high-quality and profound written works.

In addition to her outstanding performances in competitions, Mega Setya Handayani is also actively involved in student activities. She once served as the Secretary General of the Student Representative Council (DPM) for the 2024 period, which demonstrates her commitment to carrying out organizational responsibilities. Her experience as a lecturer on campus, teaching the 2023 batch, is also an added value that strengthens her qualifications and practical experience.

One remarkable thing about Mega Setya Handayani is her creativity in formulating strategic ideas. Her creative idea is about "Special Training Strategy for Teachers at SD Negeri 01 Sidomulyo towards Quality Inclusive Education". According to Mega, the main issue that serves as the background for writing this creative idea is the implementation of inclusive education in Pekalongan Regency, specifically at SD Negeri 01 Sidomulyo. "There are around 16 Slow Learner students in that school. Therefore, the hope is that with this idea, it can become one of the solutions for better implementation of inclusive education and can serve as an example for other schools in Pekalongan Regency, showcasing her sensitivity to educational issues and her ability to design innovative solutions," she explained.

Mega continued, "The pilmapres activity is an incredible competition because it motivates me to continually improve myself. Being a representative of PGSD is something I am truly grateful for, as it is a trust given to me that comes with a responsibility that must be carried out to the best of my abilities," she emphasized.

"I hope that activities like Pilmapres can enhance the motivation of FIPP students to continue striving and developing to achieve success wherever and whenever. Let's not easily be satisfied with what we have achieved," she expressed.

With many achievements and dedication, Mega Setya Handayani serves as not only an exemplary role model for fellow students but also an inspiration for the younger generation to strive and achieve success in various fields. Her remarkable journey on the stage of victory in the FIPP UNY 2024 Outstanding Student Election will always be remembered and appreciated by the entire academic community. (rit)
